Flickr Free
I did it! Wrapping up on development for FlickrFree V 1.0 YES!!
Its been a long time coming… well not that long! I’ve been toying around with the idea for a personalized search engine that searches Flickr for Creative Commons lisenced photos , but just never had the time. The Flickr API is kind of a pain in the butt to use so I decided to go with the phpFlickr wrapper it makes communicating with the Flick API soo much nicer. As you can tell im really psyched about this. Its pretty slim right now , but I will keep updating possible updates may include tagging, individual pages for each search phrase, better SEO support, drop down button for linking code, and built in image hosting to name a few. I’ve already had couple offers from people to buy the script and its tempting. Right now i’m looking for a decent open source shopping cart software that works with selling digital items got any suggestions?

Nice work and congratulations! I’m a little slow with regards to this stuff right now, how does this script expand on the native functionality of advanced flickr searches? Is it possible to search multiple licenses simultaneously? Is there a way to grab random cc flickr images to add to a post creating dynamic content?

Sorry for the massively late reply. I was overwhelmed with spam comments and finally got around to updating Akismet.
To answer your questions… The current version of Flickr Free only does searches for creative commons. Yes you can grab random flickr images based on keywords to make it dynamic. I am updating soon with widget support if you look at my sidebar you can kinda get an idea of how it works. It will display images related to what ever keywords you send it. I have a whole bunch of new updates coming soon.
